Scarlet and the Sea
Scarlet and the Sea is a children’s picture book about a young girl named Scarlet who dreams of the ocean and the adventures it brings. Featuring a storytelling grandpa and a magical map, it is ultimately a tale of travel and exploring the great wide world.
The illustrations were painted traditionally with watercolour and assembled using a paper cut and collage technique to differentiate the dream world from reality. The book features 34 full colour pages and shows various locations from around the world.
