About

Tamsin Carne is an illustrator and writer focused on narrative storytelling and bringing information to life in an engaging way. She creates detailed, colourful pieces inspired by her childhood in Bermuda, where she was surrounded by the ocean, boats, and brightly painted houses. She is skilled in hand lettering, depicting vivid environments, and creating dynamic characters. When she’s not illustrating, Tamsin can be found at home in Mississauga writing, researching, or exploring the world via Google Maps Street View.
She graduated from the Honours Bachelor of Illustration program at Sheridan College in April 2026 and has created work for clients such as Hopscotch Girls LLC, and the Oakville Curling Club. She also worked as an assistant to artist Kseniya Tsoy, with whom she painted murals for the Laneway Project in Dentonia Park, Toronto.

Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries at Stackt Market (2025) and at Youngplace (2025) in Toronto.
